CARBON WATER FILTER 10x2.5 – Designed to fit standard water filtration system units that use 10x2.5 water filter housings. Each carbon water filter cartridge works on 3,000 gallons of water @ 0.5 GPM flow rate. FOR CHLORAMINE, CHLORINE, SEDIMENT – Carbon Plus filter for sediment, chloramine, and chlorine. Water filter cartridge for chloramine reduction ensures proper water conditioning. 3 ppm chloramine with a greater than 98% reduction. NSF/ANSI STANDARD 42 – This Carbon block water filter cartridge has been tested by a third-party NABL accredited laboratory to meet or exceed the NSF/ANSI 42 standard for drinking water system units. Product Description Long Life Canister Designed for constant use, the solid canister will provide years of service before needing to be replaced. The housing is rated for up to 80 PSI of continual service. 1/4" Press Fittings Installed Each end of the canister head has 1/4" press fit x 1/4" MPT fittings preinstalled, making it easy to plumb this unit to standard 1/4 tubing. Easily plumb to an existing RO or RO/DI unit or use as a stand-alone filtration unit. Versatile Mounting Bracket The water must flow in a certain direction for the canister to function properly. Water flows in on the right and out on the left side. If you need it reversed, simply unscrew the head from the metal bracket and rotate it 180 degrees. Up to 80 PSI Strong The quality head, O-ring seal and solid canister can handle up to 80 PSI, more than enough for most home and office filtration needs. Finish with the Wrench Each Canister unit includes a wrench for the final tightening. Using the integrated O-ring means a simple hand tightening plus a 1/4 turn with the wrench and the unit is water tight. Tubing Included Each unit includes 10 ft. of1/4" OD tubing to ensure you're up and running with the filtration unit quickly. We've even included a razor blade so you can cut the tubing to the desired length.
